Do you work for a nonprofit? If so, how do you manage your information? At Aptaria, we’ve seen organizations struggle with legacy systems, like iMIS, or with low-tech solutions, like Excel, that can’t keep up with their needs.
That’s why we hosted an event on November 29, 2016 to connect with nonprofits in Baltimore. We discussed the advantages of Salesforce and its recently-launched Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).
For those who couldn’t join the party, we’ve gathered our slide presentations from the evening, so you can learn about Salesforce’s benefits for nonprofits.
In the first presentation, Salesforce.org Account Executive Ryan Lonnett introduced the nonprofit division of the world’s #1 CRM.
Aptaria CEO Andrew Lawlor then talked about the company’s history of working with Salesforce and the Salesforce Foundation. For more information about Aptaria’s variety of projects, you can check out our library of nonprofit case studies.
From there, our own Senior Cloud Consultant Jenn Dwyer demonstrated the basic features of Salesforce’s Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP). Since Jenn’s demo was interactive, we haven’t captured it in a slide deck. If you’re interested in learning more, read our blog post about the NPSP or contact us. As an NPSP partner, we’d love to explain how the NPSP might work for you.
Next, J.B. Rauch, VP of Alliances and Channels, gave an overview of WealthEngine’s Salesforce tools for nonprofits. The company’s Nonprofit WE Connector app, available from the AppExchange, simplifies the process of researching and prioritizing potential donors.
Finally, Melanie Bricker and Mike Grandel from National Aquarium shared their success story. Through a combination of Salesforce and WealthEngine, the National Aquarium’s development team increased donations by more than 400%. This fundraising enabled the National Aquarium to expand their mission significantly by launching sea life conservation initiatives.
As the evening’s presentations confirmed, Salesforce.org empowers nonprofit organizations to better achieve their missions. A system built on Salesforce can save you time, handle large amounts of information with ease, and provide more insight into your audience.
