Most AI jobs are one of two things: research that never ships, or plumbing that connects an API to a chat window. This is neither. Aptaria builds production AI systems for clients with real data, real constraints, and real consequences when the output is wrong — you’ll own the problem end to end, discovery through deployment.
What You’ll Build
Agentic systems that survive contact with production. Multi-step agents that retrieve, reason, call tools, and hand off to a human when confidence drops — with the guardrails and audit trails that let a compliance officer sign off.
Retrieval over documents that resist retrieval. Lease abstracts, offering memoranda, regulatory filings — chunking, hybrid search, and reranking, with the evaluation work to prove answers are grounded, not plausible.
Fine-tuned and privately hosted models, classical ML, and NLP/computer-vision pipelines round out the toolkit, wherever they’re the right tool for the job.
Working stack: Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, LangChain and LangGraph, Hugging Face Transformers, vector databases, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.

What We’re Looking For
3+ years shipping ML/AI systems other people depend on
Strong Python, and fluency in PyTorch or TensorFlow
Hands-on LLM application development: prompting, retrieval, evaluation
Can explain a tradeoff to a CFO without condescending or losing them
You’ll Stand Out With
Production experience with agentic frameworks like LangGraph
Fine-tuning experience on open-weight models
MLOps depth: evaluation, monitoring, drift detection, cost management
Experience with Salesforce or other enterprise CRM data models
