CEO and Chief Architect
Andrew Lawlor is a leading authority and published author on cloud computing and CRM technology. He specializes in helping companies and government agencies fully integrate Salesforce and other cloud-based applications with enterprise software.
Since founding Aptaria in 2002, Andrew has led integration and implementation projects for major clients including Citibank, Danone, Colliers International, American Red Cross, and ExxonMobil. Prior to Aptaria, he held IT management positions at Verizon and webMethods.
Andrew holds an Electrical Engineering degree with honors from the University of Maryland at College Park and he studied computer science and electrical engineering at Columbia University's Graduate School. He is a Salesforce.com Certified Developer.
Andrew lives in McLean, Virginia with his wife, daughter, and son. When not working he enjoys playing and watching basketball and playing poker.
Senior Cloud Consultant
After more than 8 years of working with Salesforce, Jenn can adapt the platform to a wide variety of contexts. She has tackled projects in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors and across multiple industries, including software, finance, oil and gas, and real estate.
Jenn has earned several Salesforce certifications: Sales Cloud Consultant, Developer, Administrator, and Advanced Administrator. She hopes to add the Service Cloud Consultant and Marketing Cloud certifications to her collection in the near future.
Prior to joining Aptaria, Jenn was a senior operations analyst and Salesforce expert for a large software company. In that role she provided support for over 500 Salesforce and 100 partner portal users. Seeking to broaden her knowledge of Salesforce and how the application can be leveraged across multiple industries, Jenn joined Aptaria in March 2013.
In her free time, Jenn enjoys reading, cooking, exploring the great outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. A lifelong horse lover, she recently realized her childhood dream of owning her own horse.
Director of Development
Andi Giri leads Aptaria's development operations, applying over 20 years of IT consulting experience with a focus on cloud and mobile technologies.
A Salesforce.com Certified Developer, Andi has held the role of lead architect on a number of Web service implementations at Aptaria and elsewhere. He contributed to the largest Force.com billing system implementation to date, a project for Dow Jones.
He was an early adopter of SOAP-based solutions for a mortgage solutions exchange between lenders and vendors. Andi recently led a cloud ERP implementation for a leading metals trading firm.
Andi received his bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication from Anna University in India. He went on to earn a master’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park.
A Certified Force.com Solutions Architect, Suresh specializes in creating custom B2B integrations and finding elegant cloud-based strategies to solve multi-faceted problems. He possesses strong experience in designing web services-based integrations that connect Salesforce with other online technologies.
Suresh has led many Salesforce community and site implementations. At Aptaria, he has lent his expertise to products such as CQRollCall, eFormix, OpenQ, Clickatell, Rocketseed, RPost, and Everstring.
With an in-depth knowledge of both technical and procedural aspects of Salesforce’s AppExchange, Suresh has supervised and developed product implementations. In particular, he often devises creative solutions to avoid exceeding Apex governor limits.
Nixon Leanas delivers Sales and Service Cloud implementations by drawing on his intensive knowledge of the Salesforce platform and products.
An expert gap analyst, Nixon identifies clients’ business problems and areas for improvement then develops cloud computing strategies to optimize their performance. For example, he has helped customers make the transition from legacy IT systems that they had outgrown to cloud-based data-driven solutions on the Force.com platform.
At Aptaria, Nixon has contributed to a number of product initiatives. He was deeply involved in many aspects of Aptaria’s work for Vartopia, including deal registration, rapid case, idle opportunity alert (IOA), lead round-robin assigner, and lead response time tracker.
A Salesforce Certified Developer, Nixon is also a master Force.com trainer and team builder.
Bringing more than a decade of legal experience to her role, Chen Qian advises Aptaria on issues related to intellectual property and patents.
Chen’s years as a software engineer, as well as her knowledge of litigation and patent law, prepared her for practicing in a corporate setting and in the technology industry. Prior to her legal career, Chen designed and developed data analytics software, SDK, and customized web applications.
She has practiced law at Fish & Richardson, the nation’s top intellectual property law firm, where she represented high-profile clients in high-stake patent litigations. She has also prepared and prosecuted patent applications in various high-tech subject areas in front of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Chen earned her bachelor’s degree in computer science from Tsinghua University in Shanghai, China. She went on to earn her master's degree in computer engineering from Lehigh University and a Juris Doctor degree from Catholic University Columbus School of Law.
An active member of the Virginia State Bar, Washington DC Bar Association, Chen is also a registered patent attorney at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She is affiliated with American Bar Association, American Corporate Counsel Association, and American Intellectual Property Law Association.
Director of Business Development
Applying 20 years of software sales experience, Steve identifies each prospective client’s goals and requirements, then creates a customized proposal. In your first interactions with Aptaria, Steve will address your concerns and set the foundation for a successful project.
Steve spent 15 years with tech startups, including a large banking software company. While working in marketing and sales, he earned certification as a project manager. As a result, Steve can handle the logistical and strategic challenges facing a diverse range of companies and organizations.
Before joining Aptaria, Steve was an integral part of the business development team at another Salesforce consultancy for 5 years. This background enables him to devise solutions from combinations of products. Steve enjoys meeting with prospective clients, whether face-to-face or by phone, and taking the time to understand their needs.
Outside of work, Steve volunteers in his community. With the Red Cross, he helped wounded veterans at Walter Reed Hospital. He has mentored children with disabilities for the nonprofit Kids Enjoy Exercise Now and coaches fellow volunteers.
He also plays in a rock-and-roll cover band and loves a good game of tennis.
Bill founded Overture Technologies in 2000 to provide advanced technology tools that address complex financial decisions, such as a approving mortgage loans or paying for college. Overture has worked with mortgage sector leaders, including Freddie Mac and Wells Fargo, as well as higher education institutions and companies, including Duke, Penn, and The College Board.
For 10 years Bill served as Fannie Mae's Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer prior to starting Overture. Under Bill's leadership as CIO, Fannie Mae introduced a number of technological innovations that were later recognized and praised. Information Week twice nominated him for CIO of the Year.
